FKT: Elise Mordos, John Breznicky - Five Sisters Loop (NY) - 2020-08-15

Really great August morning for a FKT as the temp was relatively moderate. Overall, super fun route and enjoyable experience! 

A few notes for further FKT attempts: The route had easily 40 down trees on it from Tropical Storm Isaiah that hit this area 1.5 weeks ago. My guess is that it will easily take a few months to clear up all the trails here. The section where we hit Dunderberg and Bald Mountains were particularly hard hit and made navigating hard since some of the trees with the blazes had fallen. Also, the short connector trail from Timp-Torne to R-D is easy to miss so pay close attention there. Lastly, this route has no streams or other sources of water so make sure to bring enough.
