Report

Intended to be self-supported, myself and Isi Oakley wild-camping en route. Cached resupplies in South Uist, North Uist and South Harris with stops in cafés and shops along the way. Unfortunately, Isi Oakley had to retire for medical reasons part-way through Day 3 in South Harris and therefore the attempt became supported.

The only previous female record was a supported female group, who ran it in 103 hours 28 mins and 28 s (https://www.fionaoutdoors.co.uk/2019/11/women-set-record-for-running-th…).

We started from Vatersay community hall at 05:46 on Sunday 23rd May and I finished in Stornoway castle grounds at 22:13:21 on Wednesday 26th May for a time of 88 hours 27 minutes and 21 seconds.
