Impromptu FKT during to break up the road marathon grind. First time at Governor Dodge State Park. The Driftless Trail is a horse trail with wide trails that are mowed down prairie with lots of rolling hills. Not as enjoyable as other trails in the area but great for elevation gain. 63F at the start and 72F by the finish with 10 mph. Quite humid but doable with a handheld water bottle and some Nuun endurance. Overall a rather enjoyable way to start the weekend!
