Beautiful bike ride to and from Moraine Lake from Lake Louise Ski Resort. Adam Mertens and myself started running from the parking lot at Moraine Lake, up the glorious runnable switchbacks to Sentinel Pass. From there it was mostly a hike to the summit, where we spent a few minutes taking it all in! We swung leads and worked as a team with route finding. I carried my food and water, and resupplied water by filtering some at Minnestima Lakes on the way up. Stopped on the descent to empty the scree from the shoes, then continued for the homestretch of switchbacks. True honour to run in this beautiful part of the world I call home.
