I started at Maribor Sunday morning. I posted 3 packets with supplies day before. One to Mojstrana one to Trizic one to Idrija. My gels, protein shake and bars. Weather the frist day way superb. Second until fourth day was bad. 2,5 days of rain. Arrived at the Kamnik Alps....Had to loose o e day because mountain huts were closed. So I cut one day shorter because of lack of water. Also had to do back and forth to do the round of the peaks next day. After that everything else was smooth. Made it to triglav and did the whole triglav national park in 2 days... Insane place, majestic mountains and sick routes. Then after that it was just a simple process... finishing the SMT was a success. Water was from huts, random people and fountains. Resupply was from supermarkets and huts.
