Started around 7 AM, and the temperature was around 59 degrees. The marine layer persisted throughout the run, which was perfect. This is a beautiful route filled with gorgeous views. I ran into so many Cottontails and even saw a red diamond rattlesnake around mile 20! I ran solo, carried all my nutrition and hydration, and stopped at a water fountain to refill my soft flasks at mile 18. Although the climb around mile 11 was a bit challenging, I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to run. I had so much fun out there. Thank you, Joshua, for creating such a great route.
