Had a late start which meant I dealt with a lot of foot traffic. Also, brought my dog out with me which made for a few difficult spots primarily due to other hikers with dogs. Stopped about 5 fives so my dog could drink some water. Overall, conditions were great. Cool enough so I didn't get overheated or dehydrated but enough sun to make for a lot of beautiful sights with the sun filtering through the trees. South and West ridge I saw the most traffic, as I would have assumed. Also saw some traffic down by the AMC lodge.
Brought about 2.5 liters of water and some gels just in case. Was able to stave off the cramps, which I could feel settling in during the last climb. Was surprised at my time overall considering I thought I was putting in a mediocre effort.
I can definitely see this route going under 2 hours at some point. It's a great route and I would be interested in adding some more or doubling up to make it even more difficult!
