The top of Mount Porte Crayon is absolutely beautiful despite having no viewpoint whatsoever. It is a moss-covered different world where the hemlocks are TIGHT. For a while, the trail is very obvious and then poof it's gone. There is a little bit of flagging on some trees but it would take a special someone to navigate their way to the summit without a gpx track to follow. I can't imagine finding the trail in the winter. Highly, HIGHLY, recommend folks come take down my time...it's very beatable.
