Things didn't quite pan on 4/24/17 for me. I got a late start and got turned around for a little while so I just turned it into a nice 24 miler. It took me awhile to get back out there to try again, but I finally got the time and completed the route yesterday, June 28th. It was a bit of a doozy, with some dumb fueling decisions and the heat that lead me to take a few longer breaks on some choice benches.
All-in-all I finished the (what turned out to be 38 mile) route in 9:52:46. We'll call it self-supported due to the fact I stopped at a convenience store about 22 miles in that is located right off the route. Definitely a soft record, but it's a cool spot to run and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to try. I can dole out any info you would want about water sources, etc.
