My first time in the Lake Mead area, and I will definitely have to return! It reminded me a lot of the nearby Valley of Fire State Park, but with a lot less people. Really neat geology on this route. I stopped to take a lot of photos and chase a collard lizard lol. Now that I know the route, I can definitely go much faster. Didn't realize I was only seconds away from the overall time, but the pit stops were worth it! Brought 500mL water and one pack of Clif chews.
