I had been wanting to climb Boundary for a while. I've done the 2nd tallest on the other side Nevada before (Wheeler Peak, Great Basin NP), but never this one so figured I would check it out while in the Sierras. I will say it seems odd to stand on a state high-point and be looking over at a nearby peak that is taller (Montgomery Peak in California). Would love to traverse the entire White Range someday if I can figure out a shuttle. Overall, it was a cool climb but nothing to write home about. It definitely goes faster. Was going through some stuff in my personal life at the time, which does impact athletic performance. I also had to hike a bit to/ from the start because I did not have 4wd high clearance.
