Glad I scouted the lower sections of this route a few days prior. It is very loose and slippery dust, which I’m not used to running on. This route would be ideal after a rainstorm when the ground is more tacky. I pushed on the ascent up until the scramble and then toned it down a bit. The descent goes wayyy faster but didn’t want to destroy my quads. Brought 1L water and a couple gels.
