Nevado San Francisco is a popular 6000m peak that people commonly use to help acclimate before climbing Ojos del Salado. There is a well-defined road/ trail and I felt much better this day than on Volcan Copiapo two days prior. Kudos to Sofi for putting up a great time for me to chase! I had so much fun on the diagonal scree trail going down. It got hot quickly. I was happy to be the first woman to bring the time below 3 hours!
