Solo unsupported effort. No food/ water needed. The west portal trail doesn't get the attention it deserves. It is rather exposed, so make sure to take extra care with footing. Scramble up top is not technical, but can be difficult to find the most efficient line. I think you could repeat this route many times and never do it exactly the same way twice. Recommend scouting it before going for speed so you have a general idea of where to go.
