Report

I started running around 5:30 in the morning. My boyfriend ran with me for the first 5 kilometers.

The first half-marathon was really difficult because I couldn’t keep the food I was eating and I had to stop twice to the bathroom.

I was running with my running vest for the first marathon so I had my gels on, my food (that I couldn’t really eat) and my water/Upika.

My boyfriend was following me with the car and would stop every 5-6 kilometers to see if I needed something. He was refilling my water, giving me ice when it started to be warm.

For the last 20 kilometers, I was running without my running vest, only with water in my hand and gels on me.

The course is really beautiful with amazing landscapes. It was never boring to run around the island. It when pretty well and quickly until kilometer 54. That was the hardest part for me to focus and to be able to finish even if I was in pain.
What a day, it was a blast and I can’t believe my body is able to do such things!
