Started at 3:30am from Midhurst to give myself as much time as possible to get the last 8pm bus at Heathfield, but also not so early that I’d be too early for stopping at Tesco in Billingshurst!

- CP4 Giggles pub in Fords Green, 84km
The main issue I’ve had on the route is that the GPS file provided is incorrect. DiscoverSussex, on which this route is based, runs a shortcut straight to the east of Cuckfield, whereas the real route (according to both the ramblers at https://www.sussexborderpath.co.uk/sdw.htm , and track markers on the ground) goes much more north to Borde Hill Garden.
I’ve decided to follow the official markings during this run, and will submit an updated route asap!
