On Saturday, October 14, 2017, I set the fastest known time on the 25.6 mile Long Path Shore trail loop at 3:56. I started at the Fort Lee Historic Park at the tree marking the southern end of the Long Path (just south of the George Washington Bridge). I took the Long Path north for 12.5 miles, connecting to the Shore Trail just past the NJ/NY state border. I took the Shore Trail 13.1 miles south to its end back at the Fort Lee Historic Park.

Wow you are right. Looks like I actually started going that way but thought I was lost so ended up turning around. Still think I would have had the FKT but I will go ahead and retry and the end of the year.
