FKT: Gary Robbins - Frosty Mountain (east peak) - 2022-10-12

Air quality was questionable due to the fires and I briefly questioned starting, but it appeared as though the smoke was mostly gathering down low and that proved to be accurate. Air quality improved markedly after about 1200ft of climbing. 

Quiet day due to mid-week and the fire smoke, and the limited number of trail users on the day were all quite supportive and accommodating. 

Signpost at the lake, to signpost at the summit (east peak), back to the signpost at the lake. 

Larches were still golden and beautiful. I was thankful I did this route 5 days prior to enjoy the area before this FKT attempt.
