FKT: Gavin King - Gipping Valley River Path (United Kingdom) - 2021-04-25

I ran the Gipping valley path from Stowmarket to Ipswich. Starting in the morning in stowmarket, unsupported, carrying all I needed for the journey, I ran towards Ipswich passing through Needham,  Blakenham, Sproughton and onto Ipswich. It was an overcast day with a slight headwind. I passed the Suffolk trail runners heading in the opposite direction about 18km into the route, they moved aside and cheered as I went through, (I was even caught on Facebook live). I took a fall at Sproughton going around the water pumping station but quickly got up and kept moving, I had come to far to slow down. The last few km through Ipswich were tiring but I pushed on until the finish.
