From Chester to Lichfield, right through the heart of Staffordshire.
What a beautiful route.
We ran as much as possible, and walked sections too.
We did it over 3 days, supported by a few friends, resupplying with food/water each night. We stayed at an Airbnb in Chester on night 1, a hotel in Wychwood Park on night 2, and a friend's house in Stone on night 3, finishing in Lichfield at St. Chad's Church on the final day.
A special route that I'd encourage anyone to do, especially if you live in Staffordshire.
No better way to see your home county.
This is our first go at running the route, and I hope we inspire others to do the same.
Walk or run it's beautiful.
This is the first on record ,and I'm sure there will be many that run the route faster.
It's definitely possible to do in either in 1 or 2 days.
We'll be doing it every year from now, and hopefully over the next few year we bring a lot more people to 'The Two Saints Way' to run/walk an iconic pilgrimage.
