With the Montane Cheviot Goat unfortunately being cancelled the day before, we set off on a last minute run around Isaac’s Tea Trail instead.
Wet set off in the rain shortly after 7am which quickly turned to heavy snow and blizzards on the tops. A cold and soggy day but a good day out round a route I have only run in parts previously.
5 of us set off together (Myself, Andy Robertson, Rob Brooks, katherine Davis and Mark Clarkson) but each of us carried everything we needed from the start. Rob, Mark and I finished just before 3:30pm with Andy and Katherine arriving back just after after a nav error in the last few miles.
