After numerous scouting hikes, and having completed the entirety of the Trail in its discrete sections, the entire route was completed on a beautiful sunny early Spring day. All supplies were carried, food consisting of bars and chews, and a total of 2.5L of water. Very grateful for hiking poles - some of the climbs are near vertical. A later than anticipated start meant a serious effort was made to ensure finishing before sundown - in the end, this was not necessary, as the pace was faster than expected. Regardless, there is significant time to be shaved off by someone more adept at navigating rough terrain while maintaining a quick pace. Very pleased to have been successful in the first reported linkage of the five sections of the Musquodobit Trail into a single point-to-point route.
