Running partner, Wilder Boyden, and I started at 7:15am 11/10/23 with great conditions (only needed one long sleeve shirt the whole effort), ran the ascent together and then split up on the way down. We had basically no one to pass on the way up and had the cable section totally free. It was my first time going up with the cables down so lost time there figuring it out. Summited in 2:06. Had a good descent other than accidentally taking a slightly longer path for ~.5 mile through the little Yosemite valley campground. Only had some crowds to worry about during the last two miles, but really lucked out with very few people on the trail this time of year. Carried 18 oz of water and gels. First time up half dome from the valley floor for me!
