I solo hiked this trail starting on the 26th May and finishing on the 6th June. I took a rest day on 3rd June due to an injury I picked up on trail. As per the guidance on the official website https://iatulsterireland.com, I skipped the non waymarked road sections from Castlerock to Portstewart and Waterfoot to Glenarm. I spent 2 nights on campsites and wild camped all of the others. I carried 4 days of food at the start before collecting a 6 day food resupply Id cached near Donegal. I also picked up other food supplies from shops etc along the way. All water was collected from rivers and streams along the route and filtered. The weather was dry and sunny throughout, with daytime temperatures 20c+.
