FKT: Grace Connolly - Mount Zealand (NH) - 2023-07-08

This was my first trail run in over three years! Didn't realize I was moving that quickly until I looked down at my watch at the top. Decided to let it rip on the way down and just go for it. Strava informed me that it was the fastest on Strava, so I came here to see if it was the fastest known. Extremely muddy and slippery (I almost fell in the last half mile to the parking lot), but the weather was perfect otherwise. Wore my Brooks Ghost because my trail running shoes hadn't come in yet. No one ran with me. My friends were in Rumney rock climbing so this was my activity for the day. I carried a liter of water in my hand and a purple cross-body bag tied around my waist as a fanny pack with a clif bar and my phone in it. Fun morning.
