FKT: Graeme Smith, Zac Streeter - The La Plata Enchilada (CO) - 2026-09-12

     I set off from my car at 2:58 AM towards Parrot peak where I ran into Zac and his partner as they were gearing up to also give the enchilada an attempt. When Zac’s partner bailed part way up parrot we decided to hike together through the dark. Our paces were perfectly synced up and we ended up completing the full route together.  
     We both had great days and boosting off each other’s momentum we kept a slow but steady pace through Lewis. Although we slowed down a bit on Silver we ran down the road and made it back to the car at 11:41 PM for a total time of 20 hours 43 minutes and 9 seconds.
