A nice run on a beautiful stretch of trail. The uphill on the pine-filled ridge is likely one of my favorite runnable mountain ascents. The uphill went well (minus a emergency bathroom break), and was 95% runnable. The wheels fell off the bus on the descent including a pretty bad fall, and tiptoeing on technical terrain with a ginger, injured foot (PF issues). Plus there are a couple of surprise short, steep uphills on the descent that I wasn't expecting and get you out of your downhill mojo. The bathroom break and fall took up 6 minutes easily, but that's life running in the mountains!
I'll be back, and would love to attempt something in the 2:05-2:10 range. A more fit, technical downhiller could easily do this in under 2 hours.
