Began at Golden Gardens and cruised east through Ballard, Fremont, U District then north and east around the lake. Carried 75oz of water, Trail Butter, and Clif Blocks for fueling. Turned around 200 meters past the Sammamish River (forgot I only needed to cross the bridge - whoops!).
Hardest part were the few miles after the turnaround. I was really chilled and legs felt heavy so mind wasn't in the best place. Remembered what a gift it is to be out running and found the groove again. Love the Burke-Gilman so really cool setting out-and-back standard before one of the road rabbits smashes it :-)
