Began at the Green Bay Trail marker near Wilmette Station and headed north through Winnetka, Glencoe, and Ravinia before reaching the Highland Park terminus in 1:14:51. I then cruised south and clocked out at 2:28:55.
34F with snow flurries and sustained headwinds (17mph according to Strava) during the first half. Trail had standing water for long stretches with some icy steps. My Brooks Levitates held up great though I should have packed a warmer cap… extra motivation to boost the pace!
