After spending the evening sleeping in my car, I packed two bottles of water (not enough) and a few waffles and I started from Grape Creek TH by myself at 5am and ran along the forest road for the first good bit. Once I hit the actual trail that goes up towards the pass I signed the register, and kept on the rooted and muddy path until the pass. From there it's all off trail and I followed a really engaging ridge that was a blast to run. I hit the summit of Marble after 02:13, obligatory summit selfie then turned around. I think the steeps gaining the ridge really took it out of me because my legs were feeling really dead at this point. But I just enjoyed the views until I got back to the car. Overall it was a great morning and a pretty cool mountain. My home range (the Sawatch) doesn't have too many runnable ridges so this was really fun for me.
