Started at Alison Trailhead and ran Northbound to the Matney Trailhead. And covered the 40ish miles to get to Matney Trailhead. We resupplied at mile 27 at the Brushcreek trailhead. One of my buddies left her car at mile 27. And we had water and trail snacks in her car. I carried 64 ounces of water. Since it was so hot we resupplied with water at Blanchard Springs and at several creeks along the way.
I was accompanied by my best trail running buddies. We have been planning this for the past three weeks. It was a beautiful day. Temperatures got up to the 70’s by noon but quickly began dropping. So thankful! Sara Luna and Laura Treat completed the whole distance with me.
