Started from rainy pass trailhead at 11am in some sprinkles. Got up to the heather pass trail junction pretty quickly and then traversed the boulder field. By this point the weather had cleared nicely. A new slide from this spring made a section of the boulder field very slippery with a lot of fine sand and rock covering the boulders. Stopped for a quick life straw drink at Wing Lake before heading up the col. Finally crux of the summit was manageable with very nice footholds (wouldn’t call it class 4 moves, probably difficult class 3). Enjoyed views at the summit for a few minutes.
