This is my first FKT! I made it running in my 30 birthday's on May 30th .... looking to do something different.
My wife and I spent the night before in Macks Canyon Beavertail Campground. I started around 8:00am
and it took me 3:05:08. I wore Hoka Speed Goat shoes and camelbak hydration pack with 1.5 Lts of liters of water. For nutrition had 2 Gu gel.
The beginning (first 4 miles) was a little bit rocky but the rest was all flat.
