Ever since Noah Kahan released "Paul Revere" I knew we had to come back and do this as a couple. We have been discussing it for years and we finally picked a day where it made sense. A quick blue bike to the North End, a little photo shoot, and we were off.
It was definitely a hot one early on, but the sun eased up about half an hour in and kept things from getting really out of hand. We cruised pretty well the first few miles but definitely started to feel the hills and the warmth by mid way. Just like when I did it alone, the smooth roads of Lexington and the increasing amount of historical buildings, statues, and little Paul Revere pictures everywhere gave us the sustaining motivation we needed as we got toward the end.
By the time we got to Minute Man we were ready to be done, and the last mile and change felt pretty darn long. We had brought one 500ml flask each and some carbs, which was barely enough.
