After reading the report from Bart Vandewoestyne on his first and successful FKT attempt, I got inspired to try the same. Whereas his attempt was in winter time (early Jan.) my attempt would be in summer, approximately 20 degrees warmer. Lucky for me, it didn’t get too hot, below 25 degrees Celsius; during the last hours of my attempt a little rain even cooled things down a bit. Nice route, well-marked; yet, I found it comfortable having a GPS at hand to know where to go.
