I started at the trailhead around 7:30am with one pacer. It was hot and humid, but the trail provided plenty of shade. There were several turtles on the trails and water in the many creek crossings. The wildflowers were so pretty and blooming all along the trails. I brought my water and supplies with me, and there is water at the Lake Deck to refill if needed.
