Quite muddy underfoot especially near Stansted. Lovely quiet route - I hardly saw anyone - a couple of runners and mountain bikers. I saw highland cattle in their usual spot at West Marden and a group of deer as I reached Upmarden. Free car parking at Standsted and a lovely farm shop there and a cafe where I treated myself to coffee and cake. Wasn't the run I had hoped for, I felt awfully tired and heavy, but I did it. Would like to re-attempt this in spring
