Started solo at 7:41 at the parking of Kronenburg (excellent parking with free clean toilets by the way, so you can fresh up after the run).
Some route finding problems at the beginning (route signs were covered with with weed/bush), so make sure you bring a gps track, but even then it is not always that obvious.
Started out with a smooth pace, 20km at 2h07.
At the first village, Blankenheim at km 25, I stopped at a bakery for a little apple pie, then continuing through beautiful forests and Eifel landscapes towards Nettersheim at around km 50 (I reached that point after +- 6h of running, my pace was slowing down a lot). The route passes a fine bakery at the start of the village so I decided to take a longer rest there to drink 50cl of Coke and another apple pie. I also re-filled my 2x500ml flasks with water. My 2L camelback didn't need a refill because I still had 1L left. It was getting hot (+25°C), and the little rivers I passed where completely dried out because of the dry hot summer.
The last 25km (actually 29km, because the official GPX has some little deviations because of road works etc) my pace again slowed down, but the track was way easier: broad paths and even some asfalt (auwch my knees!).
Finished in Kronenburg at 17:44 after 9u11 of running, total elapsed time 10h04.
