I'm not sure what to say, other than the required fields that confirm the important and relevant information. Frankly, you have to experience the route for yourself to gain a full appreciation for how obstructed and technical it is. I hear the south side of Granite is nice.
...
But to answer the suggested questions on the website: I did the unsupported FKT of Granite Peak from Mystic Lake Trailhead, taking Will Porter's route up Fish Creek; it went well to the extent that I set the FKT, but it was incredibly difficult and, ultimately, bloody; no one ran with me (who would want to, up this route?) and I carried all of my own water and food.
More on brand for me: Granite Peak is a special high point with unmatched remote wilderness for the contiguous United States. Pair that with the technical aspect of it's bushwhack approach and summit, the epic vastness of Froze to Death Plateau, and Grizzly bears, you have a unique and personally confrontational challenge. "Perseverance furthers."
