Overall, this run went as expected, I packed a GU, one sleeve of shot blocks and 800ml of water. Knowing this route had numerous water crossings I just assume bring one flask and refill as needed. Couldn't have asked for a better weather window as well, I think it was 65 and sunny with little humidity. This trail offers exciting conditions as in the past it has been washed out by the river that runs parallel to the trail. At times, navigating and tree jumping can be exhausting.
Pretty sure Owl's Head has been run in under 2:50 by Chris Dailey awhile ago. I don't know if he ever submits anything to this site though.
