Trip report: https://github.com/ivoysey/rct/blob/master/README.md
I followed the trail from the Western terminus to the Eastern terminus; it's a point-to-point trail so there's a reasonable FKT to be had in the other direction as well.
I should note at the very start that my run is *not* the same course as the Rachel Carson Trail Challenge (https://www.rachelcarsontrails.org/events/challenge). That is a very popular one-day event for people to run the whole trail with aid stations as a footrace. For very good logistical and traditional reasons, it does not begin at the Western terminus of the RCT, nor does it end at the Eastern terminus. My run was the full length of the RCT from terminus to terminus, which is roughly 10 miles longer.
For a detailed trip report, see the trip report link. I did not take any photos or video of this effort, mostly because I don't really care about them personally and was too busy trying to keep moving and keeping my phone dry on a drizzly day. It never really occurred to me.

I have since deleted my Strava account. The GPX file posted here is still valid, but a rendering of it can now be found here, on Garmin connect: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/4267833916
