This route has certainly been done MUCH faster than my time here, but this is the best I've seen recorded anywhere, so I've uploaded it here to get the ball rolling. I couldn't figure out how to cross Pine creek from pine creek road, so I started on a dirt road on the east side of the ridge above Rovana, which makes for 100 more feet of gain, but hey, not much for an 8000 ft day.
I began just before 5am on a hot spring day and slowly worked my way up the sandy slopes that begin the North ridge, eventually finding myself up amongst the pines, and finally on the summit 5 hours and 15 minutes after leaving my car.
I took a long snack break on the summit and enjoyed the view of Bishop, while contemplating my descent. I then walked/jogged the ridge down, arriving back at my car 8 hours and 52 minutes after leaving.
I used 1 minute tracking on my inreach, so the splits are a little optimistic on Strava.
A fast time on this route would be more like 6 hours car to car, I imagine sub 7 hours has been done already by someone faster and more motivated than me!
