I believe this is the Fastest Known Time on the Mendip Way, notwithstanding the comments below. With hindsight another week of recovery from Everesting in Exmoor would have been wise! My legs were blown from about 30km but a swift pint of coke at the Swan Inn, in Shepton Mallet, squared me away - I was going for an unsupported effort but needs must! Iffy weather for much of the day but a beautiful route.
