Being from Walsall I've always noticed the path signs for The Beacon Way but never knew the exact/full route so was good fun piecing it all together.
I set off from Sandwell Valley solo/unsupported early on a Sunday which helped make the road crossings easier.
Carried 500ml water and x3 energy gels with one water refill using a public tap on the Rushall Canal (picture enclosed).
A couple of overgrown sections and a few muddy parts but overall the trail made for good running despite the midweek and overnight rain.
All the best to any future runners it's a nice route well worth a little adventure... Get after it!!
