So, so, so gnarly. Unsupported and accompanied by Nick ? Massive root systems, mud, deep sand beach running, slippery rocks, endless ups and downs, constant fear of bears and cougars...and a finale where we were brought back to shore once we finished the run by the BC Parks Rescue Team (yay for not having to swim 200m in the ocean at 8 pm post-50 miler ?)
