Start time: 10:30 a.m. on 4/24/2021. This was a supported run. The start is on Blue Mountain road near Route 61 at the base of the mountain where the Appalachian Trail heads north bound. The route finishes by crossing the bridge over the Lehigh River up into the Appalachian Trail parking lot at the Lehigh Gap. It was a warm day for this time of year. Keeping up with my fluid intake was tough but I managed. Karen(start to finish) and Ryan(mile 23.5 to the end) were my crew. Kunal(mile 4.5 to 6.5) and Justin(last 1 1/2 miles) ran with me. I probably drank at least 15 bottles of water/energy drinks. One hard fall and couple of rock trips. There are rocks, a lot of rocks for at least 95% of this run. A true rocksylvania experience.
