Who put sand on a coastal path? ;) What can I say - that was some adventure - expertly supported by Suzy, Carmine (self-supported FKT record holder) and Chris. They were awesome, meaning I could eat proper food and help me take my mind off the escalating pain. Big respect to the chaps who did this before 'self-supported'. It's a cracking route, and the sunrise off the east coast is not to be missed. Would advise doing it through the night if the weather looks warm, as there isn't much shade on route. Some tough times on the sand/shingle, but also some pleasant runnable sections. Who's next?
