FKT: Jamieson Hatt - Beaver River Wetland Trail (Canada, ONT) - 2020-06-05

First off, this was an out and back fkt. Started just after 6am. I haven't done any speed in a little while and I only flirted with speed (for me) earlier this year. So I wasn't sure how it was going to go. I felt pretty horrible until the turn around point and thought this was going to be rough. Turned out I was wrong and I started to feel a lot better. I even managed to bring it home faster than on the outbound leg. So all in all, fun day. I did see a muskrat cross the trail. I also had to dodge an unleashed dog that almost took me out. That's about all the excitement there was. It felt good to get this done and test out the body for a shorter effort. So happy we have the fkt world during these times!
