I started at the camp site in Winterberg (where I slept the night before and after) and ran to the marketplace before heading back and up to Kahler Asten.
The ground was wet and muddy from the rain the night before, weather during my run was fine though.
I had food for 12 hours (around 60 g/hour) with me, additionally I started with 1 litre cola/water mix. I refilled water at streams and one fountain in a village.
