Not the perfect day to do this run, but the day I had. It was pretty muddy from heavy rains the day before, and extremely humid. Felt good though! No falls on slippery rocks and that was my main objective. I carried all my water and nutrition: had a filter but didn't need it. No one ran with me and the trail was relatively empty for peak season AT. There was some trail magic in a cooler at the end-- but I didn't go back for a snapple til I'd gotten to Route 50 and stopped the track. Hitchhiked back up Mt Weather to my van, suprisingly easy to get a ride as slimy, muddy, and sweaty as I was.
